Freisa
Freisa is a red wine grape varietal grown in the Piedmont wine region of north-west Italy. Recent DNA profiling has revealed Freisa as being a parent to the renowned Nebbiolo grape. The bouquet is aromatic and fragrant with notes of strawberry, spices, black cherry, and violets. Bold and lush on the palate, it is an aromatic, deeply colored, tannic wine.
