2023 Merlot
Handpicked from our sustainably farmed Los Alamos Valley Vineyard, the 2023 Merlot reflects an exceptionally long, mild growing season that allowed the fruit to develop richness and complexity while retaining beautiful balance. Fermented in small lots with traditional hand punch-downs and aged in French oak, it opens with generous black cherry and dark plum, followed by layers of leather, earth and savory spice with a subtle note of vanilla from the barrel. The palate is rich and polished, with supple tannins, classic structure and a long, beautifully integrated finish.
