Lucas & Lewellen will once again celebrate Valentines Day with their wine family, this year with a Sparkling Wine reception and Valentines Winemaker Dinner at the romantic Alisal River Grill.
Mike Lewellen and Louis and Jill Lucas will share the background story on featured wines throughout the dinner showcasing impressive culinary pairings by famed Chef Anthony Endy.

Roasted Pear with Grilled Havarti on Brioche
Bacon Wrapped Dates with Parmesan
Crispy Crab Cakes with Remoulade
Served with 2017 Toccata Sparkling Rosato
First Course:
Persimmon and Pomegranate Salad with Wild Arugula, Almonds, Aged Bleu Cheese, and Red Wine Vinaigrette
Served with 2019 Lucas & Lewellen Rosé of Pinot Noir
Second Course:
Winter Mushroom Soup with Garlic Herb Crouton
Served with 2017 Lucas & Lewellen Goodchild Vineyard “High 9” Pinot Noir
Third Course:
Lobster Risotto with Fennel, Lemon, and Lobster Butter
Served with 2019 Lucas & Lewellen Chardonnay
Fourth Course:
Port Braised Short Rib with Parmesan Grits, Truffle Essence, and Crispy Leeks
Served with 2019 Lucas & Lewellen Carmenere
Fifth Course:
Dark Chocolate Mousse with Luxardo Cherry and Crème Fraiche

$140 per person. Credit card will be charged at the time of booking and no refunds will be offered on cancellations received February 7th and after. The guest list fills fast for this one so reserve early by emailing Anjie@LLWine.com. Dress for the evening is whatever you would wear for "date night". The Alisal likes jackets/sport coats for the guys but if you hate a jacket, they won't turn you away! Be sure to bring a wrap or something warm as the Champagne reception is outdoors and Santa Ynez evenings can be chilly.
